Will it fit your space?
The two things that decide it are the cabinetry opening and the gas connection. Here's what each one needs.
Check the opening
Confirm the cabinetry cutout before it lands. 867 mm wide by 520 mm deep, at least 300 mm of cavity height below, and the gas inlet set back 170 mm.
Book the gas fitter
A fixed natural gas appliance has to be connected by a licensed gas fitter under AS/NZS 5601. Line one up for the week it arrives.
Delivered, connected, cooking
It ships free anywhere in Australia and arrives as one drop-in head unit, ready to lower into the opening. Your fitter connects it and you are cooking that weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions
The things people ask before they build this one in. Anything not covered here, call us on 0432 061 514 and a person will answer.
Which model should I choose?
The Built-In is for a permanent outdoor kitchen. It is a head unit designed to sit into cabinetry, not a freestanding BBQ. If you want something that stands on its own with a side burner and storage underneath, see the Cart version instead.
Does it come assembled?
It arrives as a complete drop-in head unit, not a flat-pack, so there is no cart to build. The work is the cabinetry opening and the gas connection.
What is actually in the box?
The head unit, the porcelain-coated cast iron grates and a premium one-third double-sided hot plate, ridged on one face and smooth on the other. Gas connection hardware is supplied by your fitter to suit your gas point.
Does it come with a gas bottle?
No, this model runs on mains natural gas through a fixed connection rather than a bottle. If you only have LPG available, it can be converted with an approved kit, sold separately.
Do I need a licensed gas fitter to install this?
Yes. Connecting a fixed gas appliance is a legal requirement under AS/NZS 5601, the Australian gas installations standard, in every state. It is not something to do yourself.
Will it survive near the coast?
The burners are heavy-gauge 304 stainless with steel flame tamers, and the grates are porcelain-coated cast iron rather than bare steel, so the parts that usually go first are the parts Coleman built heaviest. Keep it covered when the bench is not in use.
What's the warranty?
A 5-year limited warranty from Coleman. Register your product at colemanbbqs.com.au/support once it arrives.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Yes, within our standard return window. See our full returns policy for the exact terms and how to start a return. Check your cutout before a fitter cuts the bench.
