Frequently Asked Questions
The things people ask before they buy this one. Anything not covered here, call us on 0432 061 514 and a person will answer.
Which model should I choose?
The 2 Burner is the compact one, built for balconies, courtyards and smaller patios. The side shelves fold down to 900 mm when you are not using it. Step up to the 4 Burner if you regularly cook for more than four.
Is it big enough to cook for a family?
It has 2,065 cm² of cooking surface, half grill and half hot plate, which comfortably covers four. If you often have six or more at the table, the 4 Burner gives you half as much room again.
Does it come assembled?
No, it ships flat-pack. At 47 kg it is the lightest in the Coleman range, but assembly is still easier with two people. Coleman's official manual is at colemanbbqs.com.au/support.
Do I need to supply my own gas bottle?
Yes. It connects via a hose and regulator to a standard LPG bottle, the usual 9 kg swap-and-go size. The bottle itself is not included.
Will it survive near the coast?
The burners are 304 stainless and the grates are porcelain-coated cast iron rather than bare steel, so the parts that usually go first are the parts Coleman built heaviest. Keep the cover on and give it a rinse.
What's the warranty?
A 5-year limited warranty from Coleman. Register your product at colemanbbqs.com.au/support once it arrives.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Yes, within our standard return window. See our full returns policy for the exact terms and how to start a return.
Do I need a licensed gas fitter to install this?
No, this is a portable bottle-connect model. Fitting the supplied hose and regulator to a standard LPG bottle is legal to do yourself. Check the connection for leaks with soapy water before first use.
