No flare-ups, no burnt food
Double-stacked grates catch fat on the way down and drain it forward to a cup that pulls out, rather than letting it fall on the burners. Coleman rates it at 75% more grease captured than a single-grate design.

Weatherproof Instastart ignition on the gas side, and a dedicated charcoal lighting burner that gets the coals going without a chimney or firelighters.

Which model should I choose?
The Dual Fuel is the flexible one. A full-size gas grill and a full-size charcoal kettle in the same unit, so you can smoke something properly on the weekend and still cook on gas on a weeknight. If you only ever cook on gas, the Pro Series or the Revolution 4-Burner will give you more grill for the money.
Are both sides full size, or is the charcoal a token extra?
Both are full size. The gas side is 3,036 cm² and the charcoal kettle is a 570 mm unit at roughly 2,568 cm², which is the same size kettle you would buy on its own.
Does it come assembled?
No, it ships flat-pack in a 117 kg carton. Assembly is genuinely a two-person job, and Coleman's official assembly manual is at colemanbbqs.com.au/support.
Do I need to supply my own gas bottle?
Yes. It connects via a hose and regulator to a standard LPG bottle, the usual 9 kg swap-and-go size. Neither the bottle nor the charcoal is included.
How messy is the charcoal side?
The ash catcher pulls out from underneath the kettle, so cleaning up is emptying a tray rather than scooping out a cold firebox. The gas side drains grease forward into a cup that also pulls out.
